Story-wise, just remove sequences in which the antagonists speak more than 10 or so words. ![]() Maybe they won't bring back the no-respecs philosophy of Diablo 2, but at least make it feel like I have made a meaningful decision somewhere along the way as to how powerful my character will be, instead of everything being dictated by the drops I receive. I'd like to see those things change, along with a rehaul of the skill and stat systems I understand why they made everything tied to gear, but it just didn't feel as satisfying as the system in LoD that really made you feel like your build was a strategy you had invested in. That and the game just wasn't difficult for 99% of the time you were playing. I think Diablo 3 was a blast to play, but the kind of endgame everything built up to (never-ending loot treadmill) wasn't my thing in the end.
